New Maricel Palm!

New Maricel Palm in Sitges, Spain

The 110-year-old Maricel Palm in Sitges broke in half this past January - see my post on it here.

A new young palm tree has just been planted in its place! 

Although all of the plants which were at its base had to be removed, the circular enclosure was rebuilt and the fountain is working splendidly.
