Anna Maria de'Medici seems to have had a special liking for figurines composed of bits and bobs and gold and jewels centered around baroque pearls. Very curious indeed, some pieces are strange, while others are quite charming.
The pearl figures are housed in the Argenti wing of Florence's Palazzo Pitti.
