Neon tetras are beautiful and my favorite fish. They are native to the western Amazon region in Peru, Columbia, and Brazil. They iridesce blue similar to Morphos, and also have a bright red stripe. They are otherwise completely transparent.

I shot this clip at the New York Aquarium in Coney Island, Brooklyn.
